Some shops are helpful: notably those that sell odd enough things that they never end up about the GE, or those that OSRS gold sell expensive goods in bulk cheaply, such as feathers or runes. Also of use are shops that sell particular or untradeable items, like Thessalia's clothing store, Xuan's shop, or Faruq's tools for games. However, the majority of shops for every day gielinorians are fresh and unuseful. Nobody is going to sell gems to the gem trader or jewellery to the jewellery owner nowadays, or go to taverly to get a mithril 2h sword.

In your opinion, what upgrades might be made to improve the usefulness of shops? How will your suggestion boost their usefulness, and what do you think about different hints on this thread? To provide an example suggestion, I believe clothes stores would work nicely if they all worked like Thessalia's, so that no-stat clothing could be a part of one's standard clothing. This would increase visits to those stores because default garments are respected and valued by many, while clothes on top get in the way of armour or other more important items. Anyways! I wanted to let you guys know about the way that I only got scammed, and how you should all avoid it. No one I have talked to has heard about this earlier, but I keyed it together in my brain, and just be sure that you don't fall to it yourselves. Be skeptical of users offering exorbitant prices for especially substantial quantities of junk. "Want 300 steel pickaxes! Will buy for 10k each!" The above happened to me, at ge. I had one or two steel pickaxes, and the consumer bought them for 10k each, as promised.

Of course, believing waa-aay faster than I must have, I hurried to the ge and tried to purchase a few hundred more. They did not buy. And then didn't purchase some more. So before I knew it, I'd cranked up the cost to the 2k, 3k, 4k range - only to get the purchase, so I could get that stupidly high profit offered by this user ("10k ea! Want 300 pickaxes!") I ended up spending a couple of mill on 100 or 200 pickaxes, which inexplicably purchased in that exact amount. As soon as I hurried back to the user in the ge, he also photographed. He made/bought his own pickaxes, and then made a"Sell" offer to get a ridiculously high price that no one (save, maybe, for desperate lvl 1 cluers?) Would buy for - then made a public announcement on his desperation for needing pickaxes in a HIGHER PRICE THAN HE SOLD FOR.

When I purchased his lower-priced pickaxes, the note from the GE came up that his deal had been finished, and he then logged out. The account had a bunch of gibberish to get a name, like I said, so I imagine the funds will be switched over to some main at any point. Soagain, be skeptical of users who are posting similar"OMFG should buy naooo" messages, especially when they need a high bulk amount of a junk item that you'd truly normally not have the ability to buy. You may find yourself alone in the GE, feeling rather foolish, with only yourself to cheap RS gold blame. Cheers!
